Dr. David Wong

Dr. Wong received his Doctorate in Medicine (MD) from the University of Western Ontario in London in 1984. After completing a residency program in Family Medicine at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, he successfully completed his examinations and became a Certificant of the College of Family Physicians (CCFP) of Canada in 1986. Shortly after, he joined the All Med Health team in Newmarket.
He has been on active staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre since 1986, when it was known as York County Hospital. Dr. Wong was granted a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS) from McMaster University in Hamilton in 1997. He was awarded Fellowship in the College of Family Physicians (FCFP) of Canada in 2004. He became a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME) in 2005.
Dr. Wong currently holds membership in the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the Occupational and Environmental Medical Association of Canada, the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators, and the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment. His practice interests include full comprehensive family care for all age groups, and the provision of occupational health services.
Dr. Wong is a medical consultant for a number of local, provincial, and national organizations
