Dr. Funmi Adeola-Adesanya

Dr Funmi Adeola-Adesanya is an Irish trained Family physician; who began her journey in Europe, where she completed her medical training in 2012 at the Medical University of Lodz in Poland; and holds a Master of public administration in health systems from Clark University Worchester USA.

She went on to complete her 4 years Family medicine residency in October 2018. She holds a MRCGP certificate and is a member of The Irish College of General practitioner.

She is also registered with the College of family physician and surgeons Ontario.

As a general practitioner, with comprehensive knowledge in all facets of medicine, she has particular interest in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and gynaecology- women’s health including fertility counselling, contraception, LARC -IUD/implants, hormone replacement therapy and drug addiction medicine.

She is a firm believer in practising holistically and advocates for collaborative care with a patient centred approach.

Outside of work, Dr Funmi enjoys baking, travelling, visiting parks and recreational facilities with her husband and 2 children. She is conversant in Yoruba Language and she is very excited to be joining the team.
